Anymore updates or am I being a little premature?

Yes, check the 'recommends' later today (was offline yesterday and today I first need to edit a sketch for the Dragons' Den competition on the BBC - other film-makers, check out the competition details on the Beeb's Comedy Soup website. Not too much to report but something to keep you all up-to-date.

That Dragon's Den competition looks like a lot of fun!! I look forward to seeing your entry. I just wish they had the transcripts of all the audio files in one place.

It was a real git trying to download and edit the various samples. We've done two so far and another is to be filmed tomorrow. You can see Paul Power's pitches end in tragedy and triumph here:

They are the 4th and 5th sketches in the Lighter Side of the Slagg Brothers:
Dragons' Den - Space Pitch
Dragons' Den - Optimism Pitch

Nice work Slags - I liked 'em both, and fully expect one or other to be flagged up on the Comedy Soup homepage. Though I think optimism would have been stronger if it had ended with the Peter Jones quote, without going into a bit of a weird coda.
Good bit of editing too, the reaction shots are very well done.

Nice work you Slaggs. Loved the space sketch. Echoing Badges comment about the editing. May your comedic spawn engulf us all.

Cheers. The editing is my department but I hate it. SlagB turns up, delivers his lines with the unerring diction of Shatner, the straight-facedness of Jack Sugden, and the delicacy of expression of Patrick McGoohan and then he swans off leaving me to make him look and sound vaguely humanoid. My computer hinders me at every step of the way. Editing consists of many hours screaming at the screen: "Work, you swine, work."

:D
