THE BOY LOOKS UP TO HIS MOTHER, LIP QUIVERING.

SON:
Where did daddy go, mummy?

THE MOTHER IS RACKED WITH SOBS.

DIRECTOR: (O.O.V)
Yes!

PULL BACK TO REVEAL WE'RE ON A MOVIE SET.

DIRECTOR:
Fucking nailed that shit!

HE HIGH FIVES THE LITTLE BOY.

That's true. Maybe for it to work I could make the situation even more extreme. It's the sort of sketch that will rely mainly on the enthusiasm of the actor playing the Director role really.
