Although at the end of the day I guess it's more about entertainment than genuinely finding a great apprentice. And Alan's probably in it because it gives him three months of great publicity.

I knew I liked Raef.
I found Matt Lucas entertaining too, but by the end of the episode he'd been such a chuff that I wanted him to go.
He should have taken Jenny in with him though. (Another idiotic thing he did wrong.)
I quite liked the singles day idea!
I know people that do that. It's the day after valentines day and it's called Hateness day.
So Aaron, what do you think?
Should there be an apostrophe in "National Singles Day"?
And where should it be?

I think that it'd be "National Singles' Day".
But I'm still half asleep, so could be wrong.

Where they went wrong is picking an actual day. Far better to just do a range of "Single and Proud" cards that people could send at any time, including Valnetines Day.

I would of thought the day after St.Valentines would be the best because stores will have cleared their shelves and there would be more space available.
Genius.

I'd like to see an Infidels Day, where we all proudly celebrate being godless pig-dog infidels.

I may be a pig-dog but I am not godless. Shi'ite Methodist and proud!
Genius.

Last night was the poorest episode of the series so far. Roll on the Morocco episode next week.
And I really do think Raef could win this? Can't see much in any of the other contestants and he's impressing me more with each passing week.
What are you going to do for a face when King Kong wants his arse back?

Ha!
Everyone's coming round to the Raef.
I really enjoyed this week's episode though!
There are rumours of some big scandal/spat next week.

It should be before the 's', seeing as it's supposed to be for singletons. That would be most appropriate.
Richard Keith Herrin of the Collings and Herrin podcasts is frequently amusing on this subject. Here he is, being amusing.
I voted Obama.

Yes, I thought of St Skeletor's day while I was watching!
And those card companies kept saying it shouldn't be so close to Valentine's Day... They're idiots, clearly.

For the first time I watched You're Fired.
He doesn't have much of a sense of humour about the Matt Lucas thing, does he?
I voted Obama.

I imagine you'd have more of a case for Lucas grumpiness, though. My understanding, based on my admittedly short tenure on this site, is that you've largely escaped unscathed from assaults by the ugly stick.
Kevin off The Apprentice, however, has been got bang to rights. He might as well rail at the wind for blowing, or the sun for shining. If he doesn't go through the day constantly fending off shouts of "Oi, Daffyd off Little Britain," and "Margaret! Margaret!" then there's something very wrong with this world.

He will never live this down. Never ever. And quite right!

I wouldn't bet on it. But as a girl, yes I would be more than a little annoyed to be told I looked like Matt Lucas.
Now David Walliams on the other hand...
