Ouch.

You should be able to set your DVD player to Region 0, multiregion, region free (it'll have a different name depending on the make/model). But TVs can be a proper bitch.

Interesting point though. I've found that until very recently, there's been a hell of a lot of British TV shows available in Region 1 that's just impossible to find here. Bloody regions.
