It was indeed.

Although I find 50s style B&W illustrations pretty scary.

The ASDA of satire.
"Thoughtcrime was not a thing that could be concealed forever. You might dodge successfully for a while, even for years, but sooner or later they were bound to get you." Which is exactly what happened to Winston Smith. His rebellion was not one that was foolish and too outspoken. He silently tried to defeat the Party for his personal happiness, and in the end it cost him everything he had fought for, and his love for Julia. He had learned to love Big Brother, which was his ultimate fear when trying to live a life of individuality. The Party had defeated him.

You've obviously never given it a proper unbiased watch.

It's like the Office. I watched them both right from the start before any hype so had no preconceived ideas - and loved them both.

Sounds a tad patronising to me but I shall take it in good spirit. I have watched it on many occasions and I don't like it. It would be a bloody boring world if we all liked the same thing?

Yeah, but there are constants. Like needing liquids, and oxygen, and Green Wing. ;)

Anyway, we're going too far off-topic now.

The cover is designed to be multi-series.

You should become a DVD designer Anna - I'm very impressed with your covers - they're often much better than the real things.

Agreed!

Not only because on the real one, I believe Tamsin is all small, right at the back?
