Sheldon is hilarious.
Shame it has finished now, but season 2 is being made and Heroes is still on so it's all good.
I made a plan to fart, it was the only plan I followed through with.

I watched 4 episodes last night and whilst it was entertaining enough for me to keep watching, I didn't laugh that much. I suppose when I get to know the characters more, I'll find it a lot funnier.

My fiancee surprised me with the 1st season on DVD (3 disc DVD). I watched it with her and two other friends (both nerds, one being a little like Sheldon). These two guys DO NOT watch sitcoms or really anything relating to TV and comedy (save the odd Simpsons episode) and they laughed their asses off. I didn't think it was possible for them to find a sitcom funny but they did.
I think they laughed so much because they got both the science and nerd jokes but I think they were mostly laughing at the fact someone actually got this on air along with the fact that I think they saw themselves in the characters.
So yea, as much as I liked the show I'm still shocked they also liked it.
