Hm, interesting. Best to field that one towards Mark, as it's related to the writers' sections rather than the board. Or at very least to general user functionality.

Just a thought, but would it be possible to put an auto-refresh in for when someone makes a new post? So you don't have to keep 'F5'ing?
Really don't know how much work this would be, or if it'd cause some kind of problem.

Do-able very easily, but not practical for a number of reasons. Just do what I do and keep going back to the front page.

Worth a try though. God I'm rubbish at these improvement suggestions

It has probably been mentioned before but I'm sure if a repeat is that much of a problem I'm sure it can be sorted.
I was just wondering, whether like on a few other forums I have seen, if there could be an extra column next to 'Author,' 'Replies' etc, saying how many views a thread has got.
Just an idea

Yeah, I think I already record that. Just couldn't be arsed to display it. Think it's already built into the new site.

I'd like to see less links by peoples signatures. Some people just get ridiculous, sticking up MySpace pages and Bebo and all sorts of other inane crap. It's annoying. And when you click a link to read their article it's dire.

And whilst you're at it, let's get rid of the blacks and gays as well and teenagers and liberals and people who read Harry Potter over the age of 10 and especially let's get rid of people who watch Hollyoaks!

You didn't mention spaccas. But don't try and make me sound unreasonable just because I want a forum where the naked self promotion is toned down slightly.

Well if I remember correctly - the new website will feature a more in depth personal profile, so people can stick all the links they want to in there, so your wish may come true.

On the Active Threads page, how about being able to skip straight to the last page of a thread like you can from the main forum pages?

Yeah a jump to the last page on Active threads would be good. Probably been mentioned before but also an author column on the Active threads page would be nice.

Noted. Think they're both things already built anyway, but noted.
Spaccas?

If you click the little green icon it takes you to the first post you haven't read... not sure if you've picked that up?
