Yes, there will be a preview function. However, nothing will ever display as you see it in Word because of how web browsers work.
There are
script tags
which might
help
a little though.

Yes please, let's have a What are You Watching on the Radio thread
View original
That isn't so ridiculous as you get Radio stations on TV now so you can watch them. Not a lot happens though.

Is there any chance we can have sitcoms in 'critique' reduced to one or two scenes? It is so hard reading a full one, particularly when they don't amuse early on. I'm sure they'd get more views if there was less to read.

That's up to individual posters, so more for the Writers' Discussion forum than something to do with the whole site.

I don't know if it has been mentioned (sorry, too groggy this morning to trawl back through all these pages), but a feature that enables you to easily find all your own posts, or all posts by other individuals, would be welcome.

Yes, that seems to be the most requested feature. It's coming.

I have done a little tweaking of the board tonight. Mainly, if you have a new private message - and only one - the big text at the top of the page will now take you straight to that message, rather than to the inbox. If anyone has any trouble or it behaves oddly, let me know!

I was just thinking that would be an ace feature, today.
Good work!

Just a quick note from me to say thanks for all the recent feedback - all the new ideas over the last few pages have been noted and, as Aaron has said, many will no doubt appear on the new site (some are already done and ready to go when we re-launch!).
Also apologies for the very creaky nature of the site over the last couple of weeks - its slowly falling to bits, I know. It's not really worth fixing though because - as some of you may have spotted - things are starting to happen on the new site now and it won't be long before we can move everything over to the new system (I'll post more news about the re-launch at the weekend).
In the meantime thanks for your patience and do keep the suggestions coming - I'm a big believer that the only way to improve is listening to what people need / want!

Don't know if this has been suggested already, but how about a button that take you directly to the last post of a thread from the thread menu page. At the moment you have to click the last thread page then scroll down to the last message. I know it's not a massive thing, but if your in and out of threads it's a bit longwinded. Keep up the great work though.

That functionality has existed since launch. Look for the little greeny tick thing to the left of thread topics.

I don't know if this has been suggested but how about a map showing locations of members - especially those who may be looking for collaboration.
It could be interesting to see who is in your area - so to speak!
