EDIT by SlagA

I opened a new thread and pinned this as these will be of use. Enjoy.

The thread was originally posted by Phill Barron, so thank him. Phill says:
---------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't know if it's of any use or interest to anyone; but I wrote a brief guide to what type of sketch I write for NewsRevue/The Treason Show - which has comments by other regular writers explaining their approach to sketch writing.

These are the links:

http://phillbarron.wordpress.com/2007/03/31/how-to-write-sketches-part-one/

http://phillbarron.wordpress.com/2007/04/01/how-to-write-sketches-part-two/

http://phillbarron.wordpress.com/2007/04/09/how-to-write-sketches-the-aftermath/

They're not a definitive guide; but they might help people who are interested in writing for either show.

This is exactly what I was after and thanks to those people that sent me their accepted sketches as they were equally useful. I'm now copying and pasting lines out of these various sketches to come up with a hybrid sketch to knock their socks off. Mwahhaaha Mwaha ah...

Some people may call me a genius - I haven't met any though.
