Blimey! You really don't like 'Boomtown' do you, Griff! Five frowny things! Are there any episodes you dislike more than that one?

One of my favourite episodes from the new version is 'Boomtown' from series 1. Most people seem to despise that.

That was ace and a rare example of where RTDs ideas really came together.

How do you people actually remember the episode names? Flipping hell.

and all of the series finales, especially the ones with The Master.

What, that one where they turned Dr.Who into a little goblin and put him in a birdcage? And then he turned into Jesus at the end because everybody said his name? Are you mad??!!

I don't like Martha at all and thought her storylines were rubbish, but I liked that episode (for a RTD episode with Martha in it).

Yeah, it's the same with 'Midnight'. I really enjoyed that episode, but people seemed to hate it because it was psychological rather than plot driven.

Martha just can't act. Not sure what they saw in her.

Oh no, I hated that bit, but that doesn't erase how good the rest of the two parter was.

Also Dalek, Father's day, The Empty Child.

Seems in season one he wrote some crackerjack stuff.

I think they could have managed to find a girl who could act, if that was all it was.

He didn't write The Empty Child, or Dalek, or Father's Day.

If you mean stuff that could have been found in a Xmas cracker, I agree.

You point out 2 sucky parts of an otherwise ace episode.

The whole stuff with the Master winning and the world taken over was ace.

The flipping the reset lever at the end was awful.

And they used the word decomate properly.

decimate.

But yes I agree.

Those are probably the two episodes I've rewatched the most.
