If Simon Amstell could act, he'd make an ace Doctor.

A date wants to go to some Dr. Who exhibition at Earl's Court. Has anyone been? Is this something I could go to without feeling a twat?

It was fun.
And don't worry there were loads of normals there.

You mean the people just looking at the exhibits versus the people licking Tennant's suits?

Yeah, I went a few weeks ago with a lady friend. It's actually really good and nothing to be embarrassed about. And, at less than a tenner to get in , a cheap couple of hours enjoyment. Go on!

Of course not all oddballs look like oddballs, so I may have got that wrong.

Okay, thanks, I'll give it a go. Even if it turns out not to be my cup of tea, if waxworks of David Tennant get her in the mood, then job done.

I've not seen any of the Doctor Who episodes but I keep getting recommended the Moffat episode, "Blink".
My question is, can I watch it as a standalone episode or will I have to wade through a couple of series of Billie Piper to get there?

Dave - you can definitely watch Blink as a one-off. It's almost like a Play For Today, even Dr.Who's hardly in it at all.
