I have just been imagining it (if you mean Ayoade rather than that guy Chiwetele), and it would be bizarre, but fun. Just about as opposite a direction as Who could possibly go in.
A geeky weirdo.
Oh wait, that's David too.
But in a different way.
I wonder if he can act properly? When not doing comedy. I bet he can.

Damn it, what's this guy been in? I recognise him so badly but can't place him. I can even hear his voice!

Is it Moss? Yeah that must be it, the voice fits. But why do I remember Moss as being white?

Because he's not as black as Ray Lewis.

RTD killed off the Daleks, kept bringing them back in dubious ways, but... he was given tenacy of Dr. Who and he killed off the Daleks, and he killed off the TIME LORDS and Gallifrey, however it is spelt, would we re-elect him?

 I have no idea.
He might be mixed race, I suppose.
Maybe because there's not many black guys in sitcoms that aren't playing stereotypical roles like rappers.*
(*That might be a bit unfair seeing as that sitcom's only been on for one day...)

But there was a black time lord, so?
View original
Yes, but that wasn't the Doctor, and the Doctor has never been black. Who's to say there wouldnt be differnt races of Timelords? He can change his physical appearance, but theres never been evidence that he changes sex/colour. To me, it just wouldnt feel right if he became a woman, or changed race; he hasn't for the last forty five years, so why change it now? I wouldn't be all that happy with it anyway, it would scream of publicity stunt.
Tragically I was an only twin.

I agree with you along those lines about changing gender.
But I reckon him changing skin colour would be the same as changing hair colour. Which he has done lots. He's even been a ginger!

The ASDA of satire.
I hate purity, I hate goodness!I don't want any virtue to exist anywhere. I want everyone to be corrupt to the bones.
But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.

Well, he has to now. If he's older when River Song knew him, that means he has to stay at least 10 more years or the script won't make sense.
I have to say it will be sad when he goes, he's fitted so well into the part.
I wish Donna had stayed though, she's been the best assistant so far imo.
