There's a bit of a Boosh backlash going on, on sites I visit and at my school at least, although with the latter I think it's less of a backlash and more a case of people finally tuning in and not liking what they see. I think one of the worst things the Mighty Boosh did was the Old Gregg episode, which a certain kind of Boosh fan (I might say a rather large proportion of Boosh fans) find it hilarious to quote in a slightly mangled Old Gregg impression. Although then again, maybe I'm just getting annoyed because everyone knows about it now and it's the kind of 'cult show' that is wholly unremarkable to really like and know all the catchphrases etcetera, when I selfishly preferred it to be just something I knew about. I do think that objectively series 3 is not as good as the older episodes, however.

I am a Boosh fan but I have to agree, that this series is not as good as the first two. But tonight's episode had a cracker.
Vince: I'm waiting for the right time to emerge.
Howard: What are you? A pupa!
Naturally sparkling? I've never seen a fizzy river.

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum, and this is my first posting.....I've been browsing through all the friendly banter for a few days now though
I'm enjoying series 3 as much as the previous two. Last night's episode was indeed a cracker, and episode 3 was one of the best yet........Bob Fossil dancing had me in stitches! It's great to see his character back, after his absence in series two (except for a very small appearance in the last episode of series two)
You might like to know that I've been informed that a fourth series of the Boosh has been greenlit
As to those who don't find the Boosh funny......why are you even visiting this thread then?

It was ace to see Fossil.
His hair was a blow dried wonder.
Note to self: I haven't got any other parties to go to.
The only thing I don't love as much about this series is Naboo and Bollo. They're annoying me a bit for some reason.

Naboo is getting a little too much screentime - much better in small doses.
The vanilla rapist (moon) is working well as a regular character. Am loving the scrimping. Some classic episodes so far, definitely the best comedy on tv at the moment.
I don't think that the old episodes were better, I just think people (including me) liked it when not many people new about it. But that's true of all cult shows.

I thought that they could have come up with some more original plots. The episode in which Naboo and Bollo are condemned to death is really just a rehash of Nanageddon from series two. They just left out the demon. I appreciate that they are trying to develop the characters of Dennis, Saboo and Tony Harrison, but I couldn't help thinking that there wasn't enough originality as regards plot, in that episode.

It is new. But it isn't. I'm sure they'll release more tickets for more shows too. Just keep a look out.
