I had a large deep pan Hawaiian pizza tonight. Not the whole thing to myself, obviously. But ham and pineapple. Mmmmmm.

Can anyone tell me if the IT Crowd 2.0 has aired in Australia?
I've only just come to hear of this second series and can't find anywhere to buy the dvd. But I'm not even sure it's been aired on Aust television.

If anyone knows, please let me know.
I'll cry if I've missed it.

That's the sort of place this is, Jen. A lot of sexy people not doing much work and having affairs.

And so you should. It's the best new comedy of recent years.

The second series of The IT Crowd is so good, it even improves the first series.

The first episode of the second series made me heave for breath while beating my fist on the floor. And I am not exaggerating. Anybody walking past my window would have assumed I was playing charades and miming somebody laughing at the world's funniest joke. Although then they might have realised there was nobody else in the room and would wonder why I was playing charades on my own.

I suppose I could have had a webcam and been playing online charades.

Like some, i was not an instant fan of the show, i thought series 2 though, was much better than 1 and retroactively appreciated series 1 much more (the roy as james dean in 'messy joes' scene in particular is fantastic) but i have to say ep 1 of series 2 is an absolute masterclass... the structure of set-up and reveals is amazing.. just wonderful. Its also very nice to see a series genuinely improve over time it this world of the 6 episode make or break series... cannot wait for series 3, btw, in a doc recently on rte, we saw linehan going through his series 3 notes. Apparently we can expect a character called the 'pc whisperer' (sounds bloody brilliant).......

Great to hear that. For some reason I just expected that to be it now.

Re-watching episode one (of series two) on more4 at the moment. Absolutely hilarious. Perfect writing, and equally spot-on performances, particularly from Chris O'Dowd (as Roy). Brilliant. :D

Just rewatched the Gay theatre one too (I thought that was one of the last episdoes, not the first, for some reason.) I'd forgotten Ash Atalla made an appearance!

I seem to retain sad little factoids like that.

If only my GCSEs had been in sitcom format...

Anyway, really showed what a truly great sitcom episode is like. Hopefully they'll re-show the rest too, as I don't think I actually watched them properly.
