Pity that he got it wrong this time, eh?

Might be the other writer. He hasn't done much.

Haven't seen it, can't comment. I'm so old sci-fi comedy started with 'Hitch-Hiker' and ended with 'Red Dwarf'. I fell asleep inbetween. And didn't notice.

Impecible timing to fall asleep and wake up.

My problem with Hyperdrive is that whilst there are some good bits, they're too few-and-far-between, and the show just has an horrible feeling to it overall.

I’m forgiving of a show that first series doesn’t work, it must be difficult to get a vision from paper to the screen and many failings can be quite easily spotted and put right, but to carry on with a second series with them same failings is just not on.

I agree with most of this, there is something about it that doesn't work. Its like they've given a scene each to completely different writers and they've just bolted them together.

I thought it was pretty good this week. The only problem is I thought it was to easy for them to get out maybe if the woman got a dream gun and chased them for a bit of suspence as well.

I liked it this week too.
Although Jeffers definitely borrowed that afro wig from the Mighty Boosh props room.

Admittedly I was only half watching, but, well, it didn't make me fully watch it. Seemed like a load of bollocks.

I really wanted to like this show, but the characters are bland even with Nick Frost starring, and you just can't help comparing it to Red Dwarf and compared to Red Dwarf, it is really bad.
