Come now Mark, I think we'd really have some talent (!) to be slower than the Olympics!

Maybe it's time for a bit of initiative, if not mutiny. Let's build a forum on Yahoo call it "The Sketch Project" and start uploading stuff.
No time like the present

The idea came in Feb 2007 after a sketch called Bacon and Herring. I'm not optimistic.
Naturally sparkling? I've never seen a fizzy river.

I appreciate the fact it has been aggggeeesss since the idea was initially brought up - and I'm sorry for that. As hopefully you'll appreciate though, and as I have re-iterated many times, this website is run in our spare time - unfortunately we've had a lot less this year than we thought we would hence the delay.
You're more than welcome to 'mutiny' or organise the project on these forums without our input. It's totally up to you. If you were to wait until the new site is launched then the project will have our full backing - including organisation, the needed resources, industry contacts etc... but I'll understand if you don't want to wait another two or three months.

Well I didn't mean "mutiny" so much - more "initiative" After all, lots of projcts begin with Yahoo groups just to get ideas flowing.

Yeah, just to reiterate Mark's point (and BTW it's his fault, not mine - honestly); it IS happening. I have all the mechanics planned out in my mind, and it WILL get built. Like Mark said though, you're welcome to do it elsewhere if you so wish.

Like others, I suspect, I haven't penned a missive for these update pages but have been keeping an eye on things. I'll continue to watch and wait and just wanted to add my encouragement for the work that's going on...

Now the way things are going on TV these days we all KNOW we could produce a consistently funny six part half hour sketch show between us.
It really needs someone who knows what they're doing to co-ordinate it - I don't!
Do we need it filmed too?
Is there anyone visiting this site who has the experience to do so? I'm sure that we'd be cheap to start with.

Or we could pitch the idea of a sketch show comprising of a load of writers who met here to production companies, even set up a website to showcase the ones we will have filmed (plus all our individual efforts).
