Then again, he proved he knows nothing about music, when I saw him on a music show, about 10 years ago, and he was asked who was the better group, out of The Beatles and Oasis - and he couldn't decide!! Ben Elton, who is a massive Beatles fan, was also on the show, and I remember, when he was asked the same question, he just smiled, and asked them if they were being serious.

Both bands are as hideously overrated as the other.

The Beatles are a bit overrated. But they do actually have the music to back it up. Whereas Oasis don't. At all.

Both have about half a dozen good songs, at most. Both are boring. Both are overrated.

You're as wrong as Paul McCartney with a beard.
But at least you're right about Oasis. So that's something.

Paul McCartney is wrong in any situation.
But not as wrong as that Lennon gimp.

If his appearance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross a few months ago is anything to go by, self-obsessed smarmy cunt.

Where can you find a good song in Oasis catalog, let alone half a dozen?
They have two songs. Whatever and all the others. Whatever sounds like a total Beatles ripoff - while in fact, as Wiki says, "The song lifts part of its melody from Neil Innes' song "How Sweet to Be an Idiot", to the extent that Innes successfully sued Oasis for plagiarism and was awarded a co-writer's credit and subsequent royalties."
The other song is much less good.
