My fecking glasses have just got a massive scratch on them.
I didn't even drop them! (Although I do about 3 times a day normally)
Where the cocking buggery did it come from?

Can you just go to the opticians, and check that they can't buff out the scratch, first?

This is my first pair of glasses. I haven't been properly welcomed in to the specs mafia yet.
So many things I don't know!
 

There's no harm asking. Andy got a scratch on his, and when he took them in to get adjusted size wise, they'd cleaned out the scratch almost totally.

While we're on the subject...
if you want to buy new glasses, but don't want an eye exam (even though you are due for one) will they let you buy some without the eye test? Or will they hassle you into getting one?
 

Well in any case, if you can be without glasses for a week or so then you could just get the lenses replaced, rather than the lenses and frames.
