From a non professional, non analysing view... I really enjoyed Friday's show. Was easy to watch!! And I giggled!

I thought tonight's episode was absolutely brilliant and almost every scene with Mark in it was perfect.
I like how they seem to have pulled the trigger on Sophie and made her a very dislikable character where as before it was just hinted she was horrible.

Of course it's tired it's been around for years. That said it's still taught, inspired, and very, very funny.
It's also wince inducingly horrible, I know you've all got vagins, who would you suck off? That thing of having to go back to the office.

I had one little problem that last night's episode. It constantly mentioned that it was Mark that gilted Sophie at the wedding. However, Mark and Sophie married and it was Sophie that left Mark. Surely it was Sophie who gilted Mark? Or am I completely wrong?

Best episode for a while. Series 4 seemed to be all about setting things up so they could be back in the flat and office for series 5, and the latter is all the better for it. Glad to see Dobby is in the cast for next week's episode too - she looks like a great addition. The stationary cupboard scene and aftermath were great stuff.

Well technically I suppose it was Mark who jilted Sophie... after all she was very keen on getting married and it wasn't until he showed his doubts at the church that it all went wrong?

I've never really watched Peep Show, but I ended up watching it last night-and really enjoyed it! Dobby and Mark in the cupboard were hilarious, as was the way Jeremy just kept thinking "vagina" in so many different voices. Will definitely watch it again.
"Where were you at the time of the murder Reverend Green?" "I was in the library with Miss Scarlett...and a rope..."

Am I going to regret admitting to actually doing that before?

Yes, the supply closet scene and aftermath was awesome. It's odd, but all my friends over here in the US seem to like series 4 quite a bit, especially episodes 5 and 6 (me included), while you guys seem to consider it a weaker series. I actually thought the episode with the dog was the best episode yet.

I thought last night's episode was very good as well.
The stationary cupboard scene was well shot. The contrasting looks on Mark's and Dobbie's face in the mirror was hilarious.
My only niggle was that Barney seemed like an exact replica of Sophie's brother from series 4. I expect they couldn't get the actor who played Sophie's brother as he's now busy with his derivative indie band.

I think it was supposed to be the same character, wasnt it? Thats what I thought, but theyd changed him to being a cousin and given him a different name? Maybe Im wrong, but thats what I thought as he was exactly the same as the Joe Lean bloke in the last series.
Very good episode last night; and I also thought series 4 was very strong, which there seems to be some debate about. And Johnson and Super Hans were back! Good stuff.
Tragically I was an only twin.

Johnson is great, I loved him in the first series (not as much as Mark did though).
