GEORGE BUSH IS TALKING TO AN AIDE

GEORGE

I don’t care what the UN says, I don’t care what Burma says, those planes are going to deliver, to those people

ADVISER

Mr President I’m so impressed, you’re being so forceful about giving aid.

GEORGE

Aid, dagnabbit, I thought we were going to bomb them, Could we at least drop the aid on them, you know while it’s still in it’s crates.

ANT AND DEC ARE ON STAGE HOLDING HANDS

ANT

Dec this is the worst day ever, we’ve been fined 5 million quid, and we’ve had to give back the award for Britain’s’ most popular entertainers. What else could go wrong?

DEC

Ant man, more bad news, I’m not gay.

ANT

Neither am I.

THEY BREAK HANDS

DEC

Awkward.

Very much last minute for TS, I quite liked the Ant & Dec but nothing very original about suggesting they're shrub rocketeers.

The Bush one was in Treason Show on Friday, wasn't it? Maybe with some additional lines. Went down well. They must have put it in at very short notice. When did you send it?

Last minute, boy do I feel an ass for not going.

Bloody hell Joel, I don't know. I try to read a fair amount of what's on Critique, but I wouldn't get anything written if I read all your stuff! They did send out a running order on Friday morning, so you can usually tell from the titles, though it's true sometimes they change them. I didn't recognise any others of yours from Critique.

It was a pretty good show. Yours was right at the beginning, then it lost a bit of pace with a long Maddy McCann sketch and some sketches that the audience didn't seem to get, but it picked up towards the interval. The second half went better, as it tends to when everyone's had enough drink to disable their quality control.
