Hullo there. *wave*
Can anybody advise/help/point me in the right direction to constructing a synopsis for a sitcom? They never were my strong point and now I'm having to write one for my own sitcom I'm having troub. Like, Big troub in little er...um..well nevermind.
So can anyone help? Or at least point to an example of a sitom synop elsewhere?
Any help very much appreciated, cheers.

Set in a massage parlour the masseuer Lisa dreams of riches so dates filthy rich clients, getting in tangles with them and her husband but never achieving her aim.

Bushbaby's right, you should try and boil your idea down to a sentence first, then try and flesh it out over the course of a paragraph or two. Not sure if there's any examples on the web, though.

Ok, cheers.
I always have the urge to write my synops like a blurb on the back of a book or video cover. Wonder if that'll do?

This might seem like a stupoid question but...

What font does it have to be in? The same as the script?

Reminds me of one of Reece's characters in the League of Gentlemen.

So she's a married woman, who cheats on her husband? That would never get made, if it was about a married man, cheating on his wife. Then again, there was Goodnight Sweetheart, in which Nicholas Lyndhurst somehow managed to avoid having his character disliked, because he would cheat on his wife/girlfriend after travelling back in time, to the 1940s.

My fonts are usually Ariel (or Courier New for fixed format) unless they particularly specify (like DumbFunded did).
