Is Sarah Chalke the funniest woman on T.V.?

I was going to add the name of Elliot, from Scrubs, to the Greatest American Sitcom Character list, but, after realising that no other female character comes anywhere close to her, for comedy value, I thought I'd see how many people on here agree with me, in considering Sarah Chalke, who plays Elliot, to be the funniest female on T.V.

Elliot does get some great lines, but I wouldn't have said the funniest.

Hasn't Scrubs finished now?

Tina Fey's got to be mentioned.

She's great! But she's not the best, at all..

Still, she has made a LOT of progress. She was mega wooden back when she was in Roseanne.

Sue White is one of the funniest characters on TV.

To be fair, most of them were wooden in Roseanne.

I'd say, all, apart from John Goodman (Dan) and Laurie Metcalf (Jackie).

Incidentally, I nominate Laurie Metcalf - also seen in wonderful Norm Show.

I think Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe in friends) plays a good part. Apparently she's won awards snd stuff 'cos she's not like her character at all.

Tina Fey is much funnier and much hotter.

I like her with the glasses.

I like women with glasses because they act as a sort of splatter guard and you don't have to worry about taking their eye out with anything.

Why not just go with a welding face shield?

On Wednesday 31st December 1969 GMT at 7:00 PM GMT, chipolata said:

Doesn't the woman in Flashdance wear a welding shield? She was quite sexy. And I am talking about the woman, and not the man who body-doubled her and did some of her dance scenes.

Judy Finnigan, gawd imagine what she can do with that shaky hand.

On Wednesday 31st December 1969 GMT at 7:00 PM GMT, chipolata said:

I think she skakes because Richard beats her when the cameras stop rolling. I like to think so anyway.

On Wednesday 31st December 1969 GMT at 7:00 PM GMT, roscoff said:

I think Judy Finnigan beating is legal in most states. Wheras Aaron baiting is legal in all of them.

Ugh... she is awful. No wit whatsoever. Just tries to shock and disgust her audience by being outrageous. I prefer a comedian with some wit.

As for funniest woman on tv? god thats a hard one... so many to choose from *innocent*
