Why would it be off if I'm not there...There's a good load of others who want to go!

Yes... Quite.

Well anyway.

Right. Since everyone seems to be breaking themselves at the moment (Jude, Ellie), or finding that they have to work (Charley, Laura), and certain others pussywhipped into non-attendance (Lee, Adam (;))), Mark and I have decided it's best to call this thing off for now. It doesn't seem worth the time or money for just a handful of us, so we're going to be arranging for a kind of site relaunch celebration thingy in a few months. Hopefully February - March-ish, so keep your diaries open for those weekends. It'll be bigger, better, and hopefully come complete with gifts. :)

That is unless anyone's booked themselves into hotels or on trains or anything...?

Argh! >_<

Sorry - I broke my neck jumping out of a helicopter and then in hospital I broke my spine and caught MRSA.

Look - OK - I won't go so you don't have to make excuses anymore.

*lol*

For this weekend - I know it'll just be a few people but is it not worth just meeting up in a central pub for a few jars if anyone's around? I thought most people were London way anyway, and that way it won't cost anything.

I would meet Simon if it wasn't for the fact I'd been carted off to Bedford...and my evil step mum took away my crutches so I can't go anywhere*

Its a good idea to move it away from a date that is so close to Christmas. Hopefully some of the writers will be able to make it so the sketch project and other things can be discussed. Maybe there will be a bus by then.

Yes, good point. In hindsight organising it so close to Christmas was probably a little silly.

We'll certainly be aiming to make the Feb/March one a proper good event. And, like you say, hopefully they'll also be more to talk about then what with the new website, sketch project etc etc!
