Eh, quite funny, but far too self-referential for my tastes, the crimping has pretty much lost all its charm. I liked the music, though.

there were definitely bits i liked but it didn't give me the same feeling as the first two. the first two had those lovely mental twisted ideas which make it so different. i didn't like it that the boosh were famous in episode 3. they've never really done that before. i think thats why it felt self indulgent to me. the fact that they were booked to do a show, that people were copying them, that they were in a magazine. it didn't feel like it was about 2 former zoo keepers working in a shop. maybe it felt inconsistent with everything that's gone before. and the pop stars just turning up for the sake of it is starting to annoy me. thats what the simpsons did when it ran out of ideas.

Very well articulated! I think the exact same, its more like the Noel and Julian show.

Why haven't you done the dishes?
-I thought I'd leave them, and then maybe a ghost would do them.
Why would a ghost do that?
- I dunno. I saw Casper on telly and just assumed.
We're going to have to get a cleaner.
-Do people really pick that for a job? You'd have thought they'd pick rock star instead.
It's not that simple.
-If I had to clean for a living, my mouth would frown, like a rainbow. But if it didn't, it'd smile like . . . An upturned rainbow!
That was off the top of my head to show how easy it ease to write such pedestrian, student comedy shit.
Comedy animal + random thought + autism = The Boosh.
Daleks are shit.

I seriously thought you were quoting a Boosh scene then.

Cant say it fooled me, wasnt funny for one thing, and for gods sake will people stop saying that something is rubbish, or so called 'student comedy' just because its surreal or out of the ordinary. Writing that sort of stuff well is not easy, which is why so few who do become popular. And if you really dont like it, then dont watch it or bother to comment about it, as its a bit pointless.

But it was funny! its not about how easy it is to do, just as much as it's not about "fooling". fair enough you dont like it, but is it fair to be derogatory? People didnt like Blake in his time-and even Shakespeare had rough times

I didn't think it was at all funny.
Sorry, but to me you've just proved how easy it isn't.
I even tried really hard and imagined them saying the lines themselves, with their delivery, and it was still rubbish.
So, if they did ever do that sketch, I'd still have to say it was poo.
