Before glancing at your avatar just then, I'd not even thought of it before. Uncanny.

It only hit me when he was doing that dance inside eel-man's hat. Has he done a spoof before? that would be hilarious!

Well I know that certain people on here love it so I watched it last night. Probably the first time I'd watched it all the way though.

I thought it was great. Was that a typical episode?

it seems to have more depth this series. better production - sets, costumes , effects. the scripts are tighter too. little things become important as the episode moves on. still funny too.

The hitcher looked so much better.
It actually stood up to being in such a close up!
Couldn't have done that last series.

Just watched it, really good I thought. As others have already mentioned, my favourite bits are also when Howard and Vicnce are just chatting away.

I liked how they made Vince more naive, like in the first series, and the more quick-fire, energised feeling this time around, but I can honestly say, with great disappointment, that I didn't laugh once watching it. The 'plot' seemed odd in a way that the Boosh has never been - I felt like I didn't 'get' the rules and I've been a fan since the start, and also I felt slightly alienated by the 'the horrors' reference, which made me feel like they were explicitly pandering to 'that' kind of Boosh audience.

"The hitcher looked so much better."

You thought? He just looked really young (Noel's face) and increased the feeling of "new Boosh not my Boosh" I had.

And why was Tony Harrison speaking so slow and weird?

Tony talked like that last series, didnt he?

And its interesting to note some saying the effects and general production values seemed beeter, because apparently the Boosh were given less money than previous years to make it!

And, maybe this makes me odd, but I didnt find anything at all weird about the story! Its exactly what youd expect from the Boosh, lovely and odd and strangely random! Loved the pop stars skinny flamingo legs.

And as for refernces to pop stars and the like, they have had bits like that before, Razorlight popped up and Vince name checked The Kings of Leon, for instance, last series. I dont think this is pandering to certain types of fans, its entirely in context for the Vince character, and whats more to Noel Fieldings real life persona; he genuinly hangs around with the NME fodder.

Cant wait for episode two, I love the Boosh!

No, I don't think so; I found it slower and weirder.

I wasn't that happy with the Razorlight appearance either...

I didnt find it slow, and as for weird-this is the Boosh! The weirder the better! And actually, what was that weird about it, in comparison to previous episodes anyway? Milky Joe wasnt weird?!?! They run a shop, naboo had a stag doo, the Hitcher tried to threaten them into giving him money; it wasnt really the most bizzare story theyve had.

Tony Harrison's always talked that slow I reckon. I did find him funnier before though.

I think it was classic Boosh. No more or less weird. No more or less funny.

It has changed somehow though, in a good way. I watched a bit of series one last night as it was on TV somewhere, and it has advanced loads. In style, I suppose.
