I'm giving an 'ok' to that one purely because of my own personal interest. Don't care what Mark thinks of it.

Cheers.
I realise this offer is "subject to status".
I'm relatively new as a member to this site, however, have dipped in and out of it as a guest for a good while.
You can see a bit of my recent biog on the Writer's forum, where I started (what I hope will be continuing) a thread about 'SUBMISSIONS'...etc.)
I'm 34 with a long interest in sitcom and general comedy going back to 1950's humour.
I'd like to start with contemporary sitcoms such as 'Father Ted', 'The Office' and 'The Thick Of It', and comparing how the same writing skills apply to the sitcoms of the 70's shows such as 'The Fall And Rise Of Reginald Perrin', 'Rising Damp', 'Fawlty Towers'.
A monthly submission for writer's consumption, concerning the technical points of how good comedy, regardless of era, is always based on character, plot and scene structure.
It would, of course, have a forum to criticise my opinions, but I am at least confident enough to know these shows and know why they succeeded.
Cheers.
