I am a huge Jennifer Saunders fan and I support everything she does.

I think Vivienne Vyle was funny and people should give it a chance!

Yes I think Ab Fab is better but I still think it is good and hope she continues to make it.

Is this another JS fan who randomly pops on here from time to time just making one post in support of her?

Strange isn't it - I had one real life encounter with her and couldn't believe how bloody miserable she was. Perhaps it was just that she was exchanging a video because "she didn't like it" and not because it was faulty or purchased in error.

I wondered if anyone has considered that this tv show was not written specifically for them? Sure you can say if you don't like it, but why do people have to go on and on? Maybe you could think of it this way, Jennifer Saunders is an actual person who wrote this show and deserves a little respect for her work. She doesnt spit on your work does she?

She hasn't got time to spit! She's too busy counting the licence fee we give her to make ‘Jam and Jerusalem' and ‘Vivienne Vyle'.

I'm not saying she is so special, I'm simply suprised by how vicious some people can be towards someone they have never met, or do not know personally.

We've shown respect by not getting personal revenge, and equally by not kissing her arse and proclaiming it genius when we didn't really consider it so. Ultimately, she's made something for public consumption, so should expect the public to comment on it. What people think of the programme, and how they express those views (within reason), is down the the individual audience member.

Hmm, didn't think <humour> tags were necessary...

Too dry for this place, Dan.

I hope you are not insinuating i am one of those ass kissers. i would just like to see some of these comments written in here said to her face. and yes i do think she would find some of them offensive.

Not at all. You obviously do like the show. I think she's been around long enough to understand and not be so offended as you're implying.

No. Also, has it got a second series? I know it got bad reviews and mediocre ratings but that hasn't stopped the beeb recommissioning shows before?
