Only?!?!! Bloody hell. That's expensive in my book!
Anyway, I don't want to sound patronising, but you don't understand just how high the fines can be. Depending on what bank and credit card she has, that £50 cost could easily turn into £150 just in extra charges!

Yes but that's her fault.  If she just took it straight to the bank or wherever it wouldn't turn into that much.
Also I am not that stupid to get a credit card that's why I have to use hers.
I don't mean to sound horrible or anything to people who do have them.

You really don't understand, do you? If she's in debt, the last thing she needs is even more money being spent. Whether you give it to her before, at the time, or afterwards is irrelevant. It's not you owing her money that she's worried about.
