I like the idea that the Earth should have had on ON TOW badge on the back.

:D :D :D *lol* :D :D

So who else is old enough to remember when the Earth was a Green Planet?

I forgot to say:

Cybermen. Christmas special. Potentially the 1st Christmas special I will be able to sit through.

I've now realised for the first time in my life the vital importance of being Earnest.

I was a bit surprised they hadn't already returned! I wonder what next years specials have in store? More returning baddies maybe? A series of one off companions? And will they be 'proper', or more light affair, like the christmas specials? Hm . . .

I didn't mind the Sycorax Xmas special (although the first half hour with the robot Santas and spinning Xmas trees was awful, obviously).

I don't like the new Cybermen. They look daft marching in time with each other. It's like they're line dancing. And their giant metal galoshes are just silly.

And proper Cybermen should have frowny faces. Mind you I also don't like the very early ones with bandaged heads who talk like Terence and Philip.

The Victorian setting looks like fun though.

The Victorian-ness looks great.
I am a bit bored of Cybermen, but I can live with that.

I always love the Xmas specials, especially the first Tennant one.

As it's RTD's last episodes, I would have thought he'd want to tie up his own stories, like with the Master for example.

I hope.

I'd love to see them marching chanting "I'm not your guy friend" and farting to delete. :)

No. She made as excellent and witty retort. IMO.

I think the Doctor's Hand will play a part in his regeneration somehow. I'm sure I didn't see the hand in any previous series but it's always there whenever we see inside the Tardis now.

Was pleased to see I was right! I was gutted with how quickly that conundrum was over though.

I have quite a few gripes with that last episode actually, which was is sad. I usually don't mind how much things are almost made up as they go along in Doctor Who, but in last night's it was a bit ridiculous. I didn't like the creation of the two Doctors, and Donna becoming half Time Lord half human, it all seemed a bit ridiculous. Especially leaving the second Doctor with Rose - HE'S NOT THE REAL REAL DOCTOR. I want the real Doctor to live happily ever after with Rose, not a cheap imitation clone Doctor. Which is why I had tears in my eyes when the Doctor and Rose were running towards eachother in last week's episode, and why I felt unhappy when Rose got the clone Doctor in last night's episode.

I also felt cheated by them saying that "one of them is going to die" during that episode, when Donna didn't die. They said the same thing about Rose, that she was going to die, but she got to live on in a parallel universe. I was happy they didn't die, but I felt cheated in a way because in all the build it was said that they would ACTUALLY die.

I can't wait for more Moffat episodes now. He's written all of my favourite episodes; Blink, The Empty Child (both actually terrifying) as well as The Girl in the Fireplace and Silence in the Library. As much as I love RTD for bringing Doctor Who back he's also written some shocking episodes.

RTD was definitely very hit and miss. I still love him though, even the bad Dr Who episodes are better than most of the shite on tv.

That's how you are supposed to feel though. It's not supposed to be happy, it's another tragic ending like Rose's last one was.

Definitely.
At least she has the BEST blow up doll of the Doctor ever to make her feel better.

Hah.

The only tidderence between the two Doctors is that Rose's one is human, not Time Lord. So although it's not the real Doctor... It is.

But Doctor still all alonesome in his big empty TARDIS. :(

I bet he just sits in the corner crying for the next 5 and a half months now.
