Unless they have an amazing story line where John Simm replaces him then it'll be a disappointment. I think it's likely that it'll be a disappointment.

I was going to say that, but then thought it might constitute as a spoiler.
"Where were you at the time of the murder, Reverend Green?" "I was in the library with Miss Scarlett...and a rope..."

How could he? He's already played a massive part, no?
Tennant's leading next week's episode credits. With no erroneous names added. Although it's not a big task to distribute "expected" cast lists...

Well yeah, that's my point. There's only one person I'd accept and he's been used already.

Maybe it'll just go back in time or be an alternate universe, or...something!? *clutches at sraws*

Oh!
Clutches same straw.

But but but, he's a Timelord! Surely he'd be exactly the same no matter where or when he went, and even moreso whilst inside the confines of the TARDIS.
Maybe it'll be something as sickeningly cliché as Rose giving him a kiss, and all he needs is love to repair without regenerating?!
But then surely he's gone past that point already...

I either go right now and read aallll the spoilers I can find, thus ruining everyfink. Or I sit like a plum all week blubbing.

There aren't any spoilers for this, so I wouldn't bother. Anything this big would've leaked to the main media outlets.

Try not to think about it! You've got the week off work so don't actually need to leave the house, thus reducing any risk of overhearing other peoples' discussions or reading papers or anything.

Think of the good times. And the upcoming play. And erm... Then watch all of those London documentaries to take your mind off it! There's some with Stephen Fry and everything.
zooo. Remember that he is supposed to be contracted for next year's Christmas specials.

I know, I know.
But maybe that was genius misdirecting rumours!
Ah, I'll just worry about it next week.

Considered that too. Buuuuuuut I dunno. It's all so confusing! Should be good though, whatever the outcome.
Anyway, what was all of that about the Doctor deposing the PM?
