Hi Andrew
Listened to to one of your podcasts on the train yesterday - dunno which one it was but I did laugh out loud a good few times - especially liked the image of the tramp pissing through a dead man's letterbox. So - for me anyway- keep them coming, they're a blast.
One small gripe - buy a half decent mic! Doesn't have to be pro quality - anything will do better than the built-in mic. You can get a half-decent one from Tandy's for less than a ton. That's only £50 each! And you can claim against tax!
I think.

I suggested it and I basically got told on the podcast to piss off.
But whatever guys, if you never want to beat the nuts podcast...

For the record, we bought some nice mics, and stands, and attempted to make them work on the laptop but they didn't. We are not clever enough to make them work. We plugged them in and everything, and selected external input, but GarageBand was just recording us through the in-built mic, so we gave up and used that.
Number 8 should be better than the previous seven, as the mic in my laptop is better than the mic in his, for some reason.
I have listened to them on my iPod, so I know what they sound like, and I truly think that amateurishness suits the content.
We can never beat Nuts for long, as they have 30-second video clips of uncomfortable looking young women in their underwear, sucking their fingers. We can't compete with that, and don't, in fact, wish to!
Thanks for your continued interest. We love doing them.

Who needs Nuts?
When I listen to number 9, I will imagine Andrew and Richard in their underwear, sucking their fingers.

The next podcast is here (yes its a Monday this time, the guys couldn't record it on Friday you see).
It can be downloaded from the usual place... http://www.comedy.org.uk/podcasts/collingsherrin/
I think some congratulations to Andrew and Richard are due - after just ten episodes their podcast is already becoming a permanent fixture in the iTunes top 20 chart. Here's to the next 10!

Hurray!
Ooh, they've gone for a moody look this time.
I enjoy discovering the poses they've gone for in the weekly pic almost as much as the podcast.

You may need drivers for it? It's most likely you're missing a sound setting, make sure the Mic Boost has a tick in it
As for Nuts podcast competition, my advice is: "if you can't beat em, masturbate."
