Can we stop the site doing what it is right now to this post - incorporating it with my previous post if I add anything within, I think it's about, 15 mins. only thing that stops it is if someone else posts meantime.

Seems daft when you want to make two separate comments on a particular subject because you already have the option of editing.

Aside from Mark's reply, can I ask why you think this should be removed?

One thing that's a bit annoying is when you click on a smiley to use while you're writing a reply, it appears at the end of what you've written, no matter where you put your cursor.

Usually on post windows they appear where the cursor is.

So I have to cut and paste it to go where I want it.

Only a small thing, but while we're being picky!

Yeah, that'll be sorted (along with a few other similar things). I just ran out of time to put it in first time 'round.

*England*

I think that's the only one I've not used before.

I feel complete.

Curious italics?

Erm, dunno now! I just recall quite a few instances where I wanted to reply to various points individually to avoid confusion and where there was no real reason to quote. I think I noticed it most during the quiz where obviously it would have helped me to separate the asking of questions from acknowledgement of answers.

No big deal though, it was just a suggestion cos I'd never experienced it on other forums. I do also recall our pm exchange about multiple quoting -which your current system does partly facilitate in this way.

On the bottom buttons issue, I did understand some of what Mark said - but not all. I still just find it easier when you have a single click facility from your current view.

Ta

Also I know some people debated the 'who's online' issue and you seemed against it.
No great issue for me but again would have been very useful during the quiz or especially when launching a session (I did actually repeatedly jump all over the thread to find out who might be around to join in - not easy over so many pages.

Sorry: It's something to do with Stella.

Who's online list will, as I've stated a number of times (but no doubt been buried, so no worries!) be featured in v2.

Bottom buttons: At the bottom and top of every page, there is a 'breadcrumb trail' of where you are in the site. I think this is what you need. For example, on this page, you'll see "BSG Home > Forums > Help & Feedback > Improvements", with each being a link as appropriate.

A back to the top button 'cos that's where you can jump to other threads. It may have been suggested. (Ladies and gentlfolk, I very nearly made a sensible post then. Wibble wibble wombat. That's better)

Genius.

Again, it sounds like you want the breadcrumb thing. Look at the bottom left of every page. Just above the copyright bit, with the light grey background.

I love breadcrumbs. Yeh, sort of had a quick look after posting and not before which is the sensible thing to do of course. Thanks for the directions, now Chewit Magnor. Any ideas?

On 'who's online' - noted> Sorry, I couldn't be arsed to look through the whole thread: Last I saw you were saying no.

Yeah, understand the breadcrumb trail now and it's actually a bit better than other sites. Noted and I a numpty innit!:D

Any chance of some new ones?

Just the normal emotions reflected in our BSG posts: envy, hatred, spite, lust and plain old-fashioned idiocy.
